Dear Students and Families

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Daisy Gibson Elementary!  I am Mr. Barker, the principal of Daisy Gibson Elementary.  I am excited to be a part of the Daisy Gibson family.

We are focused on building a positive school culture through Daisy Gibson’s PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Support) program. We teach S.O.A.R. – Stay safe, Own your actions, Act respectfully and responsibly, and Reach for success. Students will earn points for showing positive behavior throughout the year and will be able to purchase rewards through our school store.

We want you to feel welcomed and we invite and encourage you to come to all school meetings and activities.

Our wish and expectation is to have a wonderful year working together with students, families, and staff to provide your students the best educational experience.
